By exposing children to music, researchers believe that more pathways, or neural connections, are formed between the cells in the brain. Although listening to music helps with these pathways, it is by actively participating (with singing and dancing) that children form the strongest connections. Research also concludes the specific importance of movement for healthy brain development in pre schoolers. Enhance your child's coordination, confidence, team skills, ability to follow instruction (in a super fun way), strength and flexibility and foster a love of music and movement from a young age. Using the International Dance Teachers Musical Theatre Syllabus along with a fun games, a giant parachute and NZ sign language and Te Reo integrated activities, your child will gain a great deal from these classes!
