Screen Acting Classes

 

Classes are an all round inclusive introduction to this unique way of working.  See yourself on the big screen, learn the tips of the trade to show your talents with creativity and professionalism.  Catered for all individual needs, the screen stars course will involve :

 

• Script work & analysis

• Camera work

• Acting exercises and techniques

• Characterisation work 

• Hitting marks and Film/TV terminology

• Listening and interpretation exercises

• Prop work

• Studying actors body language on camera and much more!

 

This course is designed to build confidence and to enhance  the students unique qualities while having fun in a safe environment where we get to discover and play in front and behind the scenes of a camera!

 

Course runs for 6 weeks $95 Tuesdays at the Scout Hall on James St 4.45-5.45pm.

Adv Dip in Acting; Film and Dance UCOL

 

Emmy's an actress, presenter and freelance screen play writer. She studied dance,  music, theatre and film at UCOL.  After graduating she spent the next 3 years majoring in acting at the Wellington Performing Arts Centre.  Emmy went on to study and performed in L.A.  A seasoned professional of the stage and screen!
